The Calvin College Knights are proud to officially announce the commitment of Adam Ledger.

A quick forward that notched 9 goals and 12 assists in 28 games for Northview/Comstock Park last season, Adam joins the Knights eager to continue his hockey career.  He’s an experienced player that was selected to the 2015 Team West for the Meijer State games and finished 3rd in the competition.

Head Coach Mike Petrusma had this to say about Adam and his commitment to the Knights:

“When I look at Adam as a player, I believe that he has a lot to offer.  He did very well at our recruit skate and we offered him a spot in the program immediately.  He’s a shifty player with good hands and a high compete level.  He fits the mold of what we hope Calvin hockey will continue to be about.  He works hard and is a team first guy.  His previous coach initially told me about him and everything he said about Adam was excellent.  He will be a great addition to the program.”

Why did Adam choose Calvin?

“My commitment to Calvin College was based on the great history of the hockey program and the academics. Also, Calvin was one of the few schools that offered my major.”
