The Calvin College Knights are proud to officially announce the commitment of Max Renauldo.

After taking a year off following his last season with the Kalamazoo Eagles, Max has decided to become a Knight.  He has spent the last year focusing on his game and continuing to build his skill set after starting the game later than most.

Head Coach Mike Petrusma had this to say about Max and his commitment to the Knights:

“Max might be the hardest working guy that we have coming in next season.  He has worked with some of our alumni and also our goalie coach this summer and I’ve heard nothing but positives.  Max knows that it will take a consistent approach to earn starts with the quality lineup of goalies that we have and I’m confident that he will attack it with everything that he has.”

Why did Max choose Calvin?

“It was an easy choice picking Calvin. It’s a top notch academic school, they have a great hockey program, and on top of that the fact that they are a Christian college made it a no-brainer.”
